Myanmar’s Phoe Thaw TKOs Indonesia’s Victorio Senduk in China 559

Phoe Thaw from Myanmar knocked out Indonesia’s Victoria Senduk at the One: Legendary Quest event in Shanghai, China on Saturday.

The referee put a stop to the featherweight contest after 4 minutes and 17 seconds in the first round after Pho Thaw, 34 ,knocked down Senduk, 37.

Myanmar’s Bushido faced Victorio “Indra” Senduk of Bandung, Indonesia in the first bout of the evening, with Kemp Cheng as the referee.

The bout was the first for Phoe Thaw outside of the country.

Winning the Shanghai bout improved the professional MMA record of Pho Thaw to eight wins and one loss. On the other hand, Senduk now has three wins and three losses.

Phoe “Bushido” Thaw, 34, of Yangon, Myanmar was one of the winners at “ONE: Legendary Quest.”

It was the Myanmar mixed martial artist’s eighth victory in the ONE Championship. Featuring three Muay Thai matches, two kickboxing contests and nine MMA bouts, the event took place at the Baoshan Arena in Shanghai, China on Saturday.

At “ONE: Legendary Quest,” Senduk was one of the two athletes who represented Indonesia while Pho Thaw was the only fighter from Myanmar.

Australia, Brazil, China, Egypt, Japan, Malaysia, Morocco, the Netherlands, the Philippines, Scotland, South Korea, Thailand and the United Kingdom were also represented.

Phoe Thaw has a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Dagon University. He is representing Team PT and Fight for Good. Senduk is the second Indonesian opponent Pho Thaw defeated in ONE Championship following “The Ice Man” Yohan Mulia Legowo, 38.
