One Championship releases line-ups for One Century event in Tokyo 394

Singapore-based mixed martial arts, muay Thai, kickboxing, boxing and grappling promotion, One Championship Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong has confirmed the list of fights for ONE: Century in Tokyo, Japan on October 13.

According to Sityodtong’s announcement on his Facebook page, 22 bouts will be included in the coming event and it will to be held in two parts on October 13.

“The biggest martial arts extravaganza in history will feature two full-scale world championship events on the same day.

In addition to multiple world championship title fights and multiple world grand prix championship title fights, ONE: Century will showcase 28 world champions across various martial arts,” Chatri Sityodtong posted on his facebook.

“Also, for the first time in history, the world will see the Shooto World Champions versus Pancrase World Champions. Lastly, I have a few other big surprises to announce,” he said.

Shooto is a form of wrestling from Japan while Pancrase is a mixed martial art also from Japan.

In One: Century, Myanmar star fighters Aung La N Seng and Phoe Thaw will participate.

Aung La N Seng, also known as Burmese Python, will fight against Filipino Brandon Vera to defend his Light Heavyweight World Championship belt in Part 2, while Phoe Thaw will face with South Korea’s Yoon Chang Min in in Part 1.

Another highlight is expected to be Women's Atomweight World Champion Angela Lee of Singapore defending her Atomweight World Champion belt against Women Strawweight World Champion Xiong Jing Nan of China.

Former UFC fighters Demetrious Johnson and Eddie Alvarez will fight against Filipino fighter Danny Kingad and Turkish fighter Saygid Guseyn Arslanaliev, respectively.

Light Heavyweight World Champion and Middleweight World Champion Aung La N Seng will take on Heavyweight World Champion Vera in the main event while Bantamweight World Champion Bibiano Fernandes will defend his belt against Kevin Belingon.

Bouts for the flyweight Muay Thai world championship, featherweight kickboxing world championship, Shooto and Pancrase championships will be held in Part w of the event.

Aung La N Seng will defend his Light Heavyweight World Championship for the first time after he defeated Alexandre Machado by TKO in 56 seconds in the first round at Thuwunna stadium in Yangon, Myanmar on February 23, and became champion in the Light Heavyweight and Middleweight categories.
