Spicy Fish with Tomato Curry

This delicious curry is used tomato paste insert of tamarind paste. Fish is cook in preheated oil and chili powder then add tomato paste and water. Cilantro was add to get yummy aroma.


Ingredients

Catfish - 400 g
Tomato - 4
Onion - 2
Garlic - 4 big and 15 small cloves
Fish saurce - 1 teacap
Coriander - a few
Paprika - 4
Chilli powder - 1 tablespoon
Oil - 1 teacup
Tumeric - a little
Salt - a little
Chicken powder - a little
Hot water - some
The following is the instruction of how to cook step by step in English
  1. Fish has to be cleaned and cut into chunks. Marinate those chunks with turmeric and salt.
  2. Pound garlic and onions with paprika and chilli powder for curry paste.
  3. Cut each tomato into 4 pieces.
  4. Panfry the pounded garlic and onions in preheated oil.
  5. When the aroma starts to rise from frying, add fish sauce. Put the fish after a while.
  6. Stir frequently while frying for the fish and curry paste to be thoroughly mixed. After it is no longer fishy, add tomatoes.
  7. Mix and stir those tomatoes with fish well and add hot water to the level that is just above the fish. Cook it with close lid. Shake the pot using both hand when the water inside starts boiling. You may use spoon and stir instead of shaking but it can result minced fish.
  8. When fish is well cooked and tomatoes are tender, you may add chicken powder lastly to adjust the taste.
  9. Garnish the curry with coriander at last.
