When a ferry boat landed to Bandar Bin Village, Phyar Pone District, a plastic piece was paid for ferry fee. In its piece there was a Premiere Coffee Mix sachet with a paper slip in name of Ye Tait Convenience Shop. This was how Bandar Bin solved its ferry bill a hundred kyat.
“This sachet could either be exchanged with 100 Kyat at its nominated shop or purchase. Otherwise cash may get wet and torn. This way is what we use,” said Bandar Bin Village ferry fees collector.
100, 200 cash note as well as coffee mix sack and tissue sack , etc.in plastic packs, are used instead of 100 or 200.
