Myanmar Photo Specialist Ko Kyaw Kyaw Win won the first prize Gold Medal in China-held first International Orange Photo Festival.
Over 30,000 photos from over 30 countries participated in this contest. Ko Kyaw Kyaw Win won not only First prize, 10 Consolation prizes, he was awarded.
U Myint Aung (IT Star), U Aye Ko, Ko Kyaw Thar, Ko Zaw Zaw Htun, Ko Lin Htun, Ko Moe Mya San, Ko Tun Tun Aye, won consolation awards.
In this competition, Art sector and Documentary sector, were defined in the title of “Modern Images” and Photographers have the chance of unlimited pictures submit, was heard.
“This photo awarded is truly a memorial because it was submitted in many local contests but not awarded. Unexpectedly awarded here in China, is a Contest feature. This was shot in Myaut Oo. Not any purpose specific.”
“On a winter morning in Myaut Oo, two young novices walking among the ancient old Pagodas, seem colorful. Color of old pagodas and architecture, I take a shot. I am happy and proud of my nation being awarded First Prize in First Ceremony Contest,” said Ko Kyaw Kyaw Win.
520 pictures were selected among over 30,000 in the contest and Myanmar got First Award and those 520 selected, would be displayed.
