Orphans and the poor children over 700 students attending at Sarsana Tikakaryi Monastery School in Insein Township New Living Quarter Anand B, now being faced to proceed for some problems of site location, was found.
In present, the site for Monastery School was defined by Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda Trustee Board, “the Religious Land.”
Though it was defined, school removal demands were heard, and so over 700 students education process and Monastery School existence is insecurity nowadays.
“Since 1993, it has already been established by the very start with Dani leaf roof, bamboo wall, a small school.
“Then Forestry and Fire Brigade collectively donated an old pond which was implemented for extinguish fire, then pond was renovated.”
“Zinc roof, wood wall building was built in 1996.”
“In 2008 Nargis hit, the school was damaged.”
“Shai Hoke Co. donated for re-establishment 2 storeyed building due to its increased student population which only 2 storeys may cover the population.”
“At that time, the site was defined as Religious Land and removal was demanded. So the donors instead of 2 storeys, only one storey iron- concrete building he built.”
“Though it was, demands for removal were still heard, so Sayardaw is in a dilemma for the sake of children students’ education and students’ parents were feeling sad,” said the Head Sayardaw Badanta Waryama of the Monastery School.
Children and orphans were brought up their education in the Monastery School till up to become Graduates.
