Park Lane Edition Limited last month released a Shwedagon Pagoda application for iPhone devices, the company’s managing director said.
The application is the latest in Park Lane’s Asia Treasures series, said director Mr David Valma. In January the company released applications on both Bagan and Shwedagon for the iPad.
“Asia Treasures Shwedagon Pagoda (application) is available for US$ 0.99 at the Apple store. This application is just perfect to prepare a trip in Asia, for art lovers, or for anyone who wants to discover places of amazing beauty through hundreds of high-definition pictures,” Mr Valma said.
This application, available in both English and French, includes four chapters: Shwedagon Pagoda, Governor’s Residence, Yangon, and Old Maps
“The beauty of the Shwedagon Pagoda is not only coming from its shining stupa or the magnificent temples all around it, but also because the place is full of devoted Myanmar praying all over the site day and night. The Shwedagon Pogada is definitely one of the most holy of places in Asia and a not-to-be-missed site if you travel in Myanmar,” Mr Valma said.
