First Ice Skating Rink Opens in Myanmar 753

Royal Sportainment Complex has opened in Myanmar, the complex will be new and exciting for those living in Yangon. On April 28, 2019 they officially opened the first of its kind indoor ice-skating rink in Myanmar. In addition to the ice-skating rink there is a new bowling center at the complex. Certainty the new sports complex will be a perfect place for families and friends to gather and have fun while getting in excellent exercise. Construction of the Complex began in September 2016. The complex has the goal to promote public wellness and provide sports facilities to youths and their families. The complex houses a 675-square-meter ice-skating rink on the ground floor. The width of the ice on the rink is 88 mm. The bowling center on the first floor of the complex has 11 lanes for bowling and a stand which can accommodate 400 onlookers. The Royal Sportainment Complex will be open to the public daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Fees are set at 15,000 kyats per person for 90 mins of skating. The price includes skates, helmet, knee and elbow pads. The bowling fee is 6,000 kyats per person. The complex is located at Nine Mile Taw Win Road, Mayangon Township, Yangon, Myanmar, 11062.
