Chicken with Coconut Milk Curry 

If you like sweet and fatty food, you should try this one. Coconut milk is added to Myanmar traditional chicken curry to get a yummy dish.

Chicken - 1/2 of chicken
Coconut milk - 1/2 liter
Onion - 2
Garlic - 1
Dried crush chilli - 2 teaspoon
Lemon Grass - 1
Ginger - 1/4 cup
Curry powder - 1/3 tablespoon
Tumeric - 1 teaspoon
Tamarind Juice - 1 tablespoon
Palm Jaggery - a few
Oil - 1 teacup
Preserved fish paste - a few
Jack Fruit - 1/4

The following is the instruction of how to cook step by step in English
  1. Rinse chicken and chop it into small pieces.
  2. Pound garlics, onions and dried crush chilli together for chilli paste. Crush lemongrass using the flat blade of a knife. Preheat small amount of oil.
  3. When oil starts to boil, cook chilli paste with turmeric. After they are fairly cooked, add lemongrass, preserved fish paste, curry powder (masala) and palm jaggery.
  4. When those ingredients produce aroma, add tamarind juice and coconut milk to them. Cook until coconut milk starts boiling.
  5. When coconut milk is boiling, add chicken and close the lid. Keep it heated until chicken is cooked and tender.
  6. When chicken is well cooked, you may lastly change the flavour by adding either salt or chicken powder.
